RISTCON 2026

Authors must submit the following documents:

Abstract & Extended Abstract should be submitted in two separate files.
Abstracts & Extended Abstracts can be submitted at CMT link here (Author must have an account in Microsoft CMT for the online submission)
The completed Author Declaration Form must be emailed to ristcon2026@sci.ruh.ac.lk. Do not upload this form to the CMT. The review process will begin only after the form is received via email.
Maximum number of text pages in the Extended Abstract should be four (04) pages with one column.
Following sections should be included in the ABSTRACT:
Title:

Title (maximum characters 100 with spaces, Font: Times New Roman, 14, bold)

Abstract :

Maximum number of words in the text 250
No citations
Font: Times New Roman, 12, line spacing 1.5

Note: Abstracts with the text exceeding the maximum limit will be returned

Key words: Maximum 5 keywords (Font: Times New Romans, 11, Italic)
Follow the given format in the template for the abstract

Following sections should be included in the EXTENDED ABSTRACT:

Title (Font: Times New Roman, 14, bold)
Abstract
Introduction(Font: Times New Roman, 12, line spacing1.5)
Materials & Methods(Font: Times New Roman, 12, line spacing1.5)
Results and Discussion(Font: Times New Roman, 12, line spacing1.5)
Conclusions (as applicable): (Font: Times New Roman, 12, line spacing1.5)
References: maximum of 8 citations (Font: Times New Roman, 12, line spacing 1.5)

Please note that:

No identifying information should be included in the abstract/extended abstract,its file name(e.g.,avoid using names like "Abstract_James"),or in the content.
Format of abstract must be with extension .docx or .doc
Authors can submit pdf file of the extended abstract created by Latex/tex
Do not include an acknowledgement in the initial submission. Once the abstract is approved, you can include the acknowledgement (if any) in the final submission.
Only one figure and one table could be included (if any) in the extended abstract.
Reviews will not be accepting

Camera Ready Submission

The authors must use the template (i.e., "Template for the Camera Ready Submission") provided under "Downloads" for submitting the camera-ready version. This document has been properly formatted for the RISTCON 2026 proceedings book (e.g., font size, affiliation format, etc.). Additionally, specific formatting details are provided in the main body of the document for your reference. Submissions that do not adhere to these guidelines will be returned to the authors.

CMT ACKNOWLEDGMENT:

The Microsoft CMT service was used for managing the peer-reviewing process for this conference. This service was provided for free by Microsoft and they bore all expenses, including costs for Azure cloud services as well as for software development and support

Guidelines for Oral and Poster Presentations

Oral Presentations

Presenters are required to be physically present for their oral presentations.
Each session includes a 10-minute presentation followed by a 5-minute Q&A session.

Poster Presentation:Specifications and Guidelines

Posters must be digitally printed with dimensions of 27 inches (width) x 40 inches (height) and should be in portrait orientation.
The reference number assigned by RISTCON must be displayed at the top-left corner of the poster.
The heading should clearly present the title, author(s), and affiliation(s) as stated in the accepted abstract.
The poster must include the following sections:
Abstract, Introduction, Methodology, Results, Discussion/Conclusion, and References.
Each section should have a clear title to allow easy navigation for viewers.
Ensure the text is large enough to be read from a distance of 1 to 1.5 meters. Font sizes must be appropriate, and graphics should be enlarged as needed. If the text or visuals are unclear from the specified distance, it will be considered the author's responsibility.
Use enlarged figures, graphs, or photographs to effectively present results. Avoid excessive use of tables, as they are less engaging for viewers.
Each figure, graph, or diagram must include a detailed, explanatory title.
Posters should be designed to be self-explanatory, enabling viewers to understand the content with minimal verbal explanation.
