Science Faculty Library

In 1985, the library was setup with the newly established building at Wellamadama premises as the Main Library of University of Ruhuna. Faculty of Science is maintaining a library which is opened for all students in the Faculty of Science and staff. In addition, each department is maintaining a small library for academic and research staff and students following special degree programmes.

Main Library

The Main Library of the University is located at the Wellamadama Complex, housed in three storied building constructed according to a typical Dutch architectural design. It is the most prominent building you will come across as you enter the Wellamadama Complex and the newly located Buddha statue is at the entrance to the Library. It provides many facilities for its readers with a seating capacity for over 300 readers.More about Main Library
